Graduate programmes

Graduate students are usually funded by the Royal Golden Jubilee programme, the Office of the Higher Education Commission, or by the university funds.

Molecular Biology

Applicants are to have an undergraduate degree in biology or related area (e.g. chemistry, general science, microbiology, biotechnology, biochemistry, nursing, medical technology, radiology, medicine, dentistry, physiotherapy, pharmacy, veterinary, etc.). They should posses the knowledge of English language as stipulated by the university statute, year 2000.

Biomedical sciences

Dermatology

Applicant mush have graduated in medicine from the university or a recognised institution, and have been practicing for at least one year. Students are selected according to the university requirements.

Occupational medicine

Applicants include physicians that have completed 13 credits in theory of occupational medicine and 6 credits of practice. Nurses that have completed 10 credits in the theory of occupational medicine and 6 credits of practice. Alternatively, applicants that have completed a bachelor degree in a related discipline from an institution recognised by the university and the ministry of education.
